Hello everyone!  Today was the first day of summer school here at Victoria International School.  We had such a great time!  Each day we have two topics and today was Craft and Science.  For our craft, we made lemonade~ complete with ice and a straw. We used real lemons as our stamps.  They turned out great!

For science time, we continued with our lemon theme and made lemon volcanoes!  We took great care and our k3 class cut the lemons for us.  We then added food coloring, baking soda and dish soap.  Then we watched as our volcanoes came to life.  It was a wonderful day.  - Starr♡

昨日はAiko先生とKotori先生がなにやらせっせと製作していたので
作業の隙をみて、Aiko先生に何を作っているのか教えてもらいました。

はじめに見せてくれたのは、夏に関連する動物や植物のイラストです。
これを、この夏新調して先日届いた大きな大きなボールプールに入れ、子供達で探して遊ぶんだそうです！
先生が「dolphin!」って言ったら「いるか」を探すんですね！とっても楽しそう♪

お次は女の子用の変身グッズ、大きなリボンのカチューシャです。
変身コーナーを作ったら、そこで遊べるように準備中のようです♪子供達喜んでくれると良いですね！

最後に見せてくれたのは、ベイビーシャークのガーランド（窓に飾るもの）です。
「暑くなってきたから涼しげなビーズをつけて、窓辺できらきらするようにつなげるんです」って！
その気持ちがすでに爽やかなAiko先生でした♪

Starr and Nemo

Today, Mari-sensei noticed Starr's incredibly cute nails.

Mari-sensei said, "Wow, how cute are your nails! Nemo? That's so nice!”

Starr said, "Thank you... the movie Finding Nemo came out in theaters 18 years ago.”

Mari-sensei and I said, "What a surprise!”

Starr smiled and said, "Yes, at that time I had my baby daughter in my belly, and I called her my little Nemo. “( ⁎ᵕᴗᵕ⁎ )❤

Mari-sensei and I said,
“Wow～～～～～ﾄﾞｯｷュ(*♥д♥*)ｰﾝ!!”

From the cute nails of Starr, we were able to listen to the heart-melting story of Mama Starr.❤

今日はStarr先生のとびきり可愛いネイルに園長（マリ先生）が気づきました。

園長「わ～！Starr先生のネイル可愛い！ニモ？すご～い素敵～！」

Starr先生「ありがとう♪ニモはね18年前の映画なのよ♪」

園長と私「え～～～～～！！！びっくり！」

Starr先生ニコニコしながら「うん、でねそのころ私のお腹には赤ちゃんがいてね、「小さなニモちゃん」って呼んでたの」( ⁎ᵕᴗᵕ⁎ )❤

園長と私「え～～～～～ﾄﾞｯｷュ(*♥д♥*)ｰﾝ!!」

最後に、Starrからお嬢さんとの小さなころからの写真をたくさんもらったのでご紹介しますね！
「小さなニモちゃん」はこんなに大きくなって、たまにビクトリアにもお手伝いに来てくれるんですよ♪

Tanabata~🎋✨ This month has been a lot of fun. We celebrated Tanabata and the children wished for precious things. I hope they always keep hoping and wishing and chase their dreams. - Starr♡

ビクトリアでは1歳から3歳の子供たちにはお昼寝タイムがあります。
ついこの間のお昼寝中、偶然ですが手をつないでいるような二人が撮れました。
ただでさえ天使のような子供達、可愛さ増し増しの午後でした。ପ(⑅ˊᵕˋ⑅)ଓ

Every year in kindergarten we have a Fourth of July party where we cook our lunch and celebrate with all things “Red, White, and Blue!” 🇺🇸

We made hot dogs, coleslaw and potato salad, all traditional July 4th food.  We also made some patriotic cupcakes.  We can’t wait to do it again next year!  - Starr ♡
