Kindergarten ~ Science Experiment

Every Monday we have a science lesson.  During April, we did an experiment using the popular Easter candy: Peeps!  We put the peeps in three different kinds of liquid to see which one would make them dissolve the fastest.  We chose orange soda, vinegar and water.  We then did a poll to see who thought which liquid would dissolve them the fastest.

After 3 days we checked on them and vinegar melted the peeps the fastest!  We had a lot of fun learning~  Starr♡

Pre/Tots – Awareness

Starting to become aware of the camera now are we?
Some of the children take poses now when they notice a camera on them. So cute!

Pre/Tots – Ring around the rosie

Even one of our smallest friend likes to hold hands and dance together holding hands now.
So much fun!

Kindergarten – Children’s Day

Hello!  We are getting back into the swing of things after our holiday last week.  Because Children’s Day was during our holiday, we made a Koinobori craft before Golden Week.  The students loved “flying” them around the room.
See you next time~ Starr♡

Pre/Tots – Strange findings

Today on our way back we managed to find a rare moth that had wings that looked like a leaf!
Some of the children couldn’t tell if it was a leaf or a living creature.

Pre/Tots – I spot, I spot an ant

Since the ants have returned the children have been going “ant!” “ant!” nearly everywhere they go.
