Last week we wrapped up our Ancient Egypt study.  During the month we were doing a special experiment where we mummified an apple.  We started off with two apples, one we did nothing to and the other one we applied a salt and baking soda mixture.  In Ancient Egypt, they used a similar salt mixture as well.  Every week we changed the salt and by the end of the 4 weeks we had a mummified apple!  Everyone was so excited at what we could see.

This month’s theme is Halloween!  It’s going to be fun!  - Starr 🍎

we got to try many different instruments and learnt about famous composers and their songs!

Happy Fall everyone!  It’s been such beautiful weather and it has made for great park days.  We have taken advantage of the open grassy area and enjoy playing games such as tag and “ring around the posy”.

While most of the Tots have nearly mastered their colors the Pre’s tried to play a fishing game!

We’ve been practicing our drawing and writings skills lately and the children concentrate so much when they give it a go!
