Kindergarten Valentine’s Day~ Part 3: K3

Hello everyone!  We celebrated Valentine's Day at kindergarten last Thursday.  We followed the American tradition of both boys and girls giving chocolates on the same day.  We don’t have White Day in America.   We thought we would show you some photos of the students passing out valentines to their friends.

We hope you all had a lovely Valentine’s Day!  See you next time!  ~ Starr

Kindergarten, Pre-preschool and Preschool Outdoors!

Hello everyone!  Today the kindergarten class went outdoors with preschool and pre-preschool.  We had such a great time.  The kindergarten kids loved playing with the smaller kids.  It was chilly but we warmed up by running and getting some exercise in the fresh air!

See you all next time! -Starr ♡

Kindergarten- K2~ missing vowels

In Kindergarten, we practice phonics every day as they are the foundation of reading. K2 practiced vowel sounds by doing a missing vowels puzzle.  Each child took turns making words.  They did a really good job.  Very impressive!

Kindergarten -K3, Making Ten Frames

Hello everyone!

The weather is really getting chilly, so everyone try and stay warm!

At kindergarten, the K3 class was practicing their ten frames.  Ten frames is a tool that helps kids visually count a group of items or numbers without having to count one by one.  This helps them to arrive at their answer very quickly!

Of course K3 is doing an excellent job!

Stay warm and see you next time!  -Starr
